Hi there
After more than twenty years working in charity brand, marketing and fundraising, I’ve taken the leap. I’m now working freelance as a consultant, helping charities develop compelling brand strategies, impactful campaigns, and powerful fundraising.
Why? Because I want to do more of what I love: working with purpose-driven organisations to sharpen their story, reach the right audiences, and raise more money — with clarity and confidence.
About Me
I bring over two decades of experience leading fundraising, membership, brand and supporter engagement programmes at two of the UK’s most respected conservation charities—RSPB and Fauna & Flora.
At the RSPB, I held responsibility for membership strategy, leading initiatives that improved supporter retention and value across a base of over one million members. I led digital, brand, and data teams to enhance the supporter journey, embedding a more personalised and insight-driven approach to acquisition, onboarding and stewardship. I also led brand development work that sharpened the organisation’s positioning and relevance to broader audiences.
At Fauna & Flora, I led the global individual giving programme, working with supporters and major donors across the UK, US, and Europe. I developed and delivered integrated fundraising campaigns, revitalised the mid-level giving programme, and introduced new supporter experiences for long-term engagement. I also led international brand strategy and message development, ensuring consistency and emotional resonance across diverse donor audiences.
My consultancy work builds on this experience to help charities develop supporter-centred fundraising strategies grounded in brand, data, and audience insight. I specialise in creating practical, sustainable programmes that increase income, deepen engagement, and build long-term supporter loyalty.
Over the years I’ve led brilliant teams and successful programmes across brand, supporter engagement and income generation. I’ve seen first-hand how the most effective charities are the ones that get clear on who they are, what they stand for, and how they show up — consistently and boldly. But I’ve also seen how hard it can be to make time for strategy, to step back from the day-to-day, or to bring creative ideas to life when resource is stretched.
That’s where I come in.
I’m now offering strategic support to charities and non-profits that want to cut through the noise. I help shape the thinking, simplify the complexity, and turn ideas into action. Whether it’s developing a new brand, launching a fundraising campaign, or rethinking supporter journeys — I bring a clear head, collaborative approach and a focus on what works.
My style? I like to keep things simple, deliberate, strategic and practical. No fluff. No jargon. Just smart, thoughtful support to help good causes do great work.
If you’re looking for a partner to help clarify your brand, energise your campaigns or strengthen your fundraising, I’d love to chat.
Let’s do something good — and make it count.
